Colorado Family and Medical Leave Task Force: Final Report Issued

As discussed in last week’s blogFN1, the Family and Medical Leave Implementation (“FAMLI”) Task Force issued its final report, which can be accessed here. The report has been provided to the Office of Governor Jared Polis and leadership members in the Colorado House of Representatives and Senate, who will review the report and determine steps toward legislation for implementation of a paid family and medical leave insurance program during the 2020 Legislative Session.

It is likely that Colorado will enact some sort of paid family and medical leave program, which will have a significant impact on Colorado employers. Campbell Litigation will provide updates on final legislation and implementation of the program in the coming year.
